The people in the Omo Valley of southern Ethiopia maintain an extremely traditional way of life. We were very fortunate to experience a bull jumping ceremony with the Hamar tribe in which a boy becomes a man by jumping over a row of 10-15 cows (no small feat). While we were the visitors, many of the people we met in the tribes were just as fascinated with us as we were with them.
